Work has resumed on VirDIS-2! It will still be a rather long (months) process but here are some key points:
1. USB will be the hardware interface to the computing platform for VirDIS-2 - Ethernet has been eliminated from consideration.
2. Due to #1 our standalone design will NOT require a separate power connection and take required power from USB.
3. We are pursuing a funding partnership to make all this happen - any rich audio guys wanting to participate can contact us for further discussion :).
